I have Df, and am slowly beginning to learn all that it can do. The one major complaints that I have is in the difficulty focusing. Even the AF lenses occasionally miss the mark, and it is really hard to use my legacy lenses. I have been using 'live view' al lot, but that is fairly slow. Part of the problem is my vision, which isn't what it was when I was young. If have read good reviews on the DK-17M eyepiece. I would love some feedback from any of you who own and use this eyepiece!
Thanks in advance!
I lost the standard eyepiece when vacationing in Hong Kong. So I bought both the standard piece and the DK-17M. The DK-17M helps if you don't wear glasses. When wearing glasses it's impossible to see the whole frame. Still manual focusing is still a bit more difficult than the Nikon F3 with a plain focusing screen.
Thanks! I wish they would supply a split screen!

Some of the third party does sell the split screen but I myself hate the split screen
If the camera has a diopter adjustment which is not suitable for your vision, you might be able to get an optional one that will work.

The DK-17M also magnify the viewfinder image.

Yes, that was mentioned above.

I also see that there are aftermarket focusing screens available (from Taiwan at the moment). I might try one of those. Has anyone used one?
I had both the DK17M and a split image focus screen on my old D70s that I gave to my oldest boy. I got the screen from
http://www.focusingscreen.com/ . It worked well using my older glass. Nikon said the focus screen in that camera wasn't user replaceable but it was a snap to change it out. Don't need anything now as you get used to it after awhile. My Flickr stream has lots of macro shots using an older manual focus macro lens on a D7100, no viewfinder magnifier or split screen needed....
