Thanks Sue!! I do not fret about my DUH's. I actually find them very amusing and quite human.

Mark,
Only those that don't shoot never have those duhs... I'm always remembering what I forgot to do after I do it... I knew I knew how, I just couldn't remember how, especially with OCF... I don't use it enough and I have to get it out and play with it before I need to use it, just so I don't look like a fool.

Went to a family birthday party yesterday. Took the 5d MIII and flash. Began shooting and the flash seemed erratic. Missed many"good shots". Checked settings, ... everything seemed OK. After about 2 hours and experiencing the flash still being erratic, I discovered it was not seated completely in the hot shoe. DUH!! DUH!!! DUH!!! OH well, one more learning experience. I'm 81! Is there a time, other than after departing this Earth, I might exhaust my DUH's?

I was going to make an insightful comment, but I walked through a doorway and I can't remember what it was now...

I wish you (and I) many more DUH's to come. I know I'm not out of DUH's, and I certainly am capable of rolling our a couple of RE-DUH's, too.

Plastic Pony body succumbed to a 16 year-old's clumsiness. All the glue in NYC couldn't stop the light leak. A nice easy camera to learn on and use. Scale focusing and no meter, but entry level 35mm, and one sunrise over Lake George NY still hangs in my office. The same view, moon rise shot on Dad's Signet with a coupled rangefinder AND meter and Schneider lens hangs in guest room. And boxes and boxes of Kodachrome's waiting to be scanned.

DUHs are age agnostic! How many times have you forgotten to remove the lens cap, for example?
