White Sow Thistle is one of the dandelion family. But it grows tall with multiple stalks and blooms so multiple puffball seed heads.
5DIV with Tamron 180 macro.
The lawn guy is due soon so this will be gone.
Yeah I know the cloning to get rid of the stems is sloppy. Call it practice, I need more practice.
You are becoming a macro artist Bob!

Thank You
Being lazy it appeals to me, you don't have to chase the subjects.
I know me, I will reach a goal in learning something then I will move on to something else. I should be thankful this area has so much light pollution or I would be freezing my rear off outside in the middle of the night doing Astrophotography.
And since they no longer hold the Special Olympics winter games in the local mountains I am not up there standing in snow and slush taking pictures. Our younger son is special needs - mentally a 5 year old. We have walls of medal from Special O. And his little sister learned skiing so fast she was do black diamond slopes after three lessons and Sp O let her be her brother's "Ski Buddy" and shadow him on all his runs - she was 9 and the next youngest Ski Buddy was an 18 year old. I and my camera could never seem to get warm.
I love the sharpness/clarity you captured of the seed heads, Jerry!
