White Sow Thistle

White Sow Thistle is one of the dandelion family. But it grows tall with multiple stalks and blooms so multiple puffball seed heads.
5DIV with Tamron 180 macro.
The lawn guy is due soon so this will be gone.

Yeah I know the cloning to get rid of the stems is sloppy. Call it practice, I need more practice.

Looks good to me, Jerry, and I never knew what sow thistle was until now.

Thanks
I found out here on UHH. Put up a picture and asked what this weird tall multi stalk dandelion was. And got an answer. Googled it and guess what, there are a bunch of different types including very small ones, just like dandelions. I have some that the flowers are only 1/4 inch. And just like dandelions, no matter how many times the lawn guy uses the weed eater or his mower they keep coming back. Of course those little floats on the wind seeds have a lot to do with that.

Love the download, Jerry! I am not an expert in cloning but this looks OK to me!

Nice one, Jerry. I've seen these growing around here, mainly near the creek.

Thanks a lot.

Seems this tribe of plants is native to Eurasia and tropical Africa but have now been spread all over the world by human activity.
