The petals have all fallen off and the Rose Hip (haw or hep in some places) is now forming. It is the fruit of the rose.
I thought I would take a shot before I prune to get the bush to put the effort into new blooms.

Besides except for the ones in my yard it is less work and walking than my birds.
Oh, I use this lens with a 1.4x extender on a crop sensor camera for Humming Birds at the feeders. I sit in a lawn chair 8-10 feet from the feeder and wait for them to get used to me being there. The little darlings have used my head for a race course pylon when they play "chase the birdie".
