Nice shots Jim. What is your equipment? Shutter speed might have been higher to achieve a bit more sharpness. Just a thought.

Canon 5D mark iv with the Canon 70-200 @ 2.8. There was more noise than I expected and in cleaning up the noise it softened the photos.
He looks like he's trying to get off!
Excellent shots. We attended the same rodeo last year after spending the day touring the stockyards and it’s restaraunts and shops. It’s a must stop if visiting the Dallas / Fort Worth area. A few of our pics attached.

I love the barrel racing, but due to some health issues, I wasn't able to stay for it. This is my second time shooting to rodeo. The Stockyards was one of my favorite places in Ft Worth to shoot before the did away with all the free parking.
