Legal risks of photographing minors at the request of parent?

Would someone explain how this differs from Senior Pictures, of which I have done thousands, with never a hint of a problem--

What? That isn't any protection if one looks at the issues that each of those religious denominations have run into. The video might help.

Senior pictures (or any school photos are normally covered by a blanket agreement/release to the school.
