Dear colleagues,
I am interested in branching out to using more lighting in my photography of people. I have several books on lighting but am looking for a book or cheater cards that display lighting diagrams and corresponding effects of lighting on faces. I have searched the UHH and several sites but so far, no luck. And recommendations?
Best regards
I found this to be helpful from Digital Camera World.
That’s perfect. Thank you so much.
You’re welcome. I know the resolution is not good in the pic I attached but if you look at their site and search lighting guide, then click to enlarge, you will be able to read the chart.

If looking for a book, nothing has ever covered it so well as "lighting for portraiture" by Walter Nurnberg" (spelling?) It was published in 1948, and is long out of print, but you can find copies. He literally did every conceivable combination of lighting set ups, and showed the results on a manikin head to keep things consistent.
When teaching portrait lighting set ups, I still refer to the book, and suggest people find their own copy.
(usually about $20, but some "yahoos" charge several hundred)

Thanks. I will start looking.
