When going through some papers I came across a publication 'The Illustrated London News Whitsuntide Holiday Supplement". It is dated Saturday May 26, 1849. On the first page there is an illustration of people picnicking in Greenwich park. The inside has three guides for excursions on three of the local rivers.
Does anyone have any idea if this is a significant artifact?
Sounds like it would be very collectible, if in good or excellent condition, maybe in not good condition! Perhaps a used book store or antique dealer could offer an opinion, or valuation?

I don't know if they are worth anything, BUT if it were me I keep them for historical reasons. I have two newspapers from the civil war and I would not part with them for anything. also have one from the 2nd. world war. I plan on giving them to my grandchildren when I pass on
