I agree. Flower arrangements make good subjects in addition to being a nice gift. I used to think they were a waste of money until I started shooting them.

As for the vase, it is one we have had for some time, and she chose it to hold the roses. The black background was my creation, thanks to a piece of black felt and some PP in Lightroom.
