D800E Sky

I have been inundated with requests for images from my new Nikon D800E since posting a sunset pic the other day. While I have not been out much since finally getting it due to other obligations, I have taken a few shots so I will post a few here.
My biggest concern was the fear of Moire in my shots so I have been shooting mundane scenes looking for it, but to my delight, have yet to see any with it.
A shot of the sky from 10,000 feet elevation. Yes, a storm was rolling in on me.

Nice shot, I would struggle here as most times the sky is blue with no clouds or grey all over. ;-)

Thanks MT for posting the D800E pics. I'm very interested on how well it works. But you got me on one thing, what is "Moire"? I have never heard that term before.

Nice shot too!

The only shots that I have seen so far that show Moire with the D800E were those taken of birds plumage. Try some of clothing/ silk wedding gown. For wedding and studio work these would be my main concerns. Still on the fence about switching brands. but the D800 with D600's for back ups and second shooters may be in my near future. Waiting also for the Canon 7D markII.

I am not the least bit concerned about Moire created from fabric as I have not shot people for many years and wildlife wears no clothing. The "E" was made for people like me I think.
