I found a lone baby sparrow having breakfast this morning. I'm also adding a new Tee I'm thinking of having made. Also is a hoodie and tee that I saw on E-bay. The hoodie and tee are sold by teespring_inc.
That is probably a Lesser Goldfinch. And they are that small, not a baby. I have a few that come to my yard that are about the size of some of the larger Humming Birds. But they are sort of cousins of the sparrows.
Thank you for the identification, I guess when I saw this bird feeding with other sparrows, I assumed it was a fledgling.

Around my feeders I get a mob of species: several types of sparrows, Lesser Goldfinchs and Housefinchs, California Towhees, three kinds of doves, Band Tailed Pigeons, Blackheaded Grosbeaks, Scrub Jays and Hooded Orioles, not to mention the Humming Birds. And on one or two occasions I think I have had all of them somewhere in the yard at the same time. When the crows, ravens and hawks show up the others usually leave.
