Congratulations on your new granddaughter!!! Where in Brooklyn do they live, my daughter is in Cobble Hill.
This sounds and looks like a wonderful vacation for you!!

They moved from Manhattan near Columbia U. to Park Slope and love it. A much better place to raise a child.

Definitely!! My daughter also lived in the city, we moved her to 3 apartments in nice areas, then she decided upon Brooklyn and it is such a beautiful area as well.
Make sure you fill up on grandbaby pictures and hugs and kisses... must be hard living so far away.

Ed, you need to take a before and after picture and post it!! What kind of pooch is Penny??
I'll do that. According to the shelter where we got her she is a minature poodle/bichon mix. That's what the shelter people thought, anyway. We got another dog at the same shelter about ten or eleven years ago. They said that they thought she was part dalmatiian (because of her coloring). Turned out Hannah had as much dalmatian in her as I have in me. So I don't know how much I can depend on their assessment but a lot of people see the Bichon in her.

Nice set, Angela. I’d be happy to call Buster my friend either way. He looks like a real charmer.

Just dropped our Lhasa-Poo off at the groomer. Same coloration, same scruffy look. I'm sure the results will be almost the same.

Tony, I hope you have a before picture and will take an after and then post!! But this new look never lasts too long!!

She must be a cutie.... whatever she's mixed with and I thank you very much for adopting and giving both your animals a loving home!!
I must confess, I didn't adopt Buster, but will never buy another dog again after learning so much about the horrors of puppy mills.... I did work at a shelter for 8 years and have adopted many cats!

Thanks, John, for that lovely comment and Buster would love to be your friend as well... but he's a mama's boy so I don't know how charming he would be towards you! lol.. he won't even go to my husband unless he has food!!
