Milkweed flowers - with a different kind of insect - Can you find it?

This is a 12 stack shot of the milkweed plant. using a macro lens but from the nearest leaf tip to the part of the background in focus it is about 10-12 inches. I did get some out of focus spots and ghost edges due to wind movement.
But the insect in question just happened to be still at the instant the frame with that part of the plant in focus was snapped.
5DIV, Canon 100 macro, with tripod.
I had started to cut out all the dead stuff from past bloom cycles but I rather like the contrast in textures, colors and the new life vs the dead past.

Oh, I did not know the insect was there until I inspected the image after focus stacking.

It is amazing the textures, color variations and light differences that can be found in "just a milkweed plant".
In the 74-75 school year I had a room on the 4th floor of a building with outside balcony style walkways instead of inside halls (it's a Southern California thing) and one day standing in the door looking north towards the San Gabriel Mtns across the area known as Highland Park I noticed that because of the huge variety of trees etc planted along streets, in yards and parks there were literally hundreds of textures, patterns and shades of green to be seen. I was never able to get a good image that conveyed that variety using 35 mm film. I wonder if it would work with digital and a focus stacked landscape properly processed? Well I am not driving 50/60 miles up to Franklin High and asking to go on campus to try it. I don't need to have any long heart-to-hearts with the LAPD Anti-Terror unit or the nice shrinks in the Psych Ward.

Yes, and another playing peek-a-boo just to the upper right of that one. A little black bug on the stem below those flowers and what may be a brown bug falling/hanging on a thread of spider silk to the left of that.

You're right. I went back for another look and found the other critters. This is a very interesting image!
