Today it is a very rainy day so I couldn't go out so I shot these two photos through my sliding deck door taken about a half a second apart with the lens LB Twist 60. Angela if you see these let me know what you think and be honest. Others that use lensbaby lenses you give me your thoughts also....Rich

Rich, they look great, your subject is in perfect focus and even though you don't see the 'twist', you have lovely bokeh!!
I posted twist shots today also and you can't see the twist like you did on my cherry blossom set, but the background still looks good, IMO!

Thanks Angela. Maybe it just shows up more with a FF camera. Could the light have something to do with it or the distance between the subject and the lens. I do like the way it makes the subject stand out and the beautiful bokeh surrounding the subject. I know you will figure it out sooner or later. I did find that the focusing with this lens is very touchy and will take a little time to get use to but time and practice will take care of that. I'll check out your post now...Rich

Rich, they say you see the effect more on a FF camera, but I don't have one and don't plan on getting on buying one either... I love the effect it gives.... and I love this lens, even without the twirl. As far as distance, light and all that... I honestly couldn't tell you because I don't think too much into things when I shoot. Like with my flowering cherry post, I thought the twist was very visible and on my dogwood, not so much... but it still keeps your subject in perfect focus, with the effect in the back.
With time, you will figure out what's right for you!! If and when the sun ever comes out again, that might make a difference.
Enjoy the rest of the weekend!!
