Dandelions dandelions everywhere

it seems like we are being invaded - but I can't help feeling an affinity for these visually stimulating plants ... as a youngster we would blow off all the dandelion seeds and make a wish - the more seeds flying off the greater the chances of the wish coming true :) - 'wish' I could remember what we wished for!!!

Every grounds keeper's nightmare. Very well done. Some actually make salad of the leaves. Trivia- the name come from the french. Dent de lion=lion's teeth. The leaves looks like a lion took a bite out of them

Nice shots phil9945. I'm a freak because I love to see dandelions, especially when they fill a field or hillside. My wife is an herbalist and she really turned me on to the many benefits of dandelions. Before that, I just thought they were pretty.

I loved them. My dad hated them. It's still fun to try to blow off all the seeds with one blow. (even if it does spread the seeds even further!)

I keep seeing fields full of these plants. There seems to be many more than I ever remember. Anyone havebthebsame feeling?
