Ring flash or ring light for Sony A7III and Sony 90mm f2.8 macro G OSS.

Dear chums, if you are currently using a ring flash, ring light or twin macro flash with your Sony A series full frame camera, I would be grateful if you could find the time to provide me with the details. I have, literally, just swapped my Nikon and Olympus systems for a Sony A7III + 90mm f2.8 G OSS macro and 100 - 400mm. I have found a suitable speedlite, but having difficulty identifying a ring flash. Thanks a lot.

Sigma EM-140. They only make them with the old Minolta flash foot (As far as I know), so you'll need an adapter to mount it on any a7 series camera.

I have several older "Lester Dine" units from film days that I use on my Nikons. No trigger voltage issues & interchangeable modules (I use the older single pin one). The units I use are the old Sigma made ones.

Just don't use a ring flash to photograph people, especially if they wear glasses.

Thank you. Yes, I have already done so but was hoping there was a dedicated unit out there that I had been unable to find.

Thank you for your prompt reply. I was hoping to find one with TTL, though I would probably use it in manual mode most of the time.

I do not believe Sony make a ring flash. They do make (or sell) a ring light, which does not put out the light a flash does.
