The blossoms are so pretty, love #2. Excellent set Cathy.

Thank you, Sylvia. I think that's my favorite also. I like the pink ones, but somehow when I think dogwood, I think white. Thanks so much for looking in.

I think 4 does a real good job of transmitting the splendor of nature. I especially like the upper right quadrant, as the tree emerges from being engulfed.

Thanks, Mark. I actually looked at that to perhaps crop that corner out for a separate image. But then it didn't seem grounded, so I left it as was.

Thanks so much, Angela. I had to ask what they were. I didn't even know dogwood came in pink! They are pretty, but in my mind, dogwood is supposed to be white.

Thank you, Sirius. I like the second one a lot. And I loved how they hid in the forest.

on dogwood! I hadn't seen a dogwood tree in bloom for probably more than 10 years. It became addictive! I love how they tend to hide in the forest, back behind other trees, as though their showy, white blossoms couldn't be seen. They're beautiful even when they're "past their prime," as one ranger assured me.

I don't know that I was trying to be particularly artistic with these. But I hope you find them pleasing anyway. Your comments are welcome. They have minimal processing.

Thanks so much! I think I probably have over 500 dogwood images. And yes, those are probably my favorites also. Living out here, one tends to forget about dogwood and how beautiful it is. I literally slammed on the brakes on the freeway when I saw the first tree.
