OK, that's not the real question for you to answer.

I had an interesting dialogue with a Best Buy employee yesterday. I went to pick up a mic for my canon 6d markii and thought while I was there, I'd go ahead and get a 64g and faster mb/s card that I was gonna need.
I asked where were the cards and the sales clerk said "Yes, we have a whole section over here." I walk with him over there (I'd asked cause I was unfamiliar with the layout at this particular store) and he asks about my camera. I told him what it was - a canon 6d mkii - and his next response was interesting: "No, I meant how much did your camera cost?" He actually pointed me to the right card that I was looking for, but, how interesting...you choose the card based on how much your camera costs. How about that ya'll?

If you don’t know anything about cameras that is a valid but crude question.

I would use mail order before I would purchase at a Best Buy!

Wow, I'd never associate camera cost with the type of card to use.
(I wonder if he though if you spent a crap load of money on a camera, you can afford a more expensive chip.)

I have found some incredible deals at a Best Buy near me (lenses).
But I don't go to Best Buy seeking advice.

Your manual will give you the minimum recommended card ratings to get the max performance from your camera. Rather then relying on some big box "expert" who may have been selling air conditioners the day before I would suggest checking the manual before shopping so that you know exactly what you are looking for. What if you had a used high performance camera that you lucked into for a cheap price? I wonder what this salesman's advice would have been then.

There are exceptions to every rule. I had problem with my cell that so called experts couldn't figure out. I took it to BB to get a replacement and young man who me took a look at my problem phone and less than 2 minutes i was on way back home a happy camper.

Best Buy should have closed a long time ago. It served it's purpose in the past. On line stores are much more knowledgeable than Best Buy. If they were as smart as Fry's sales people Best Buy might survive.

I actually bought a 64gb SanDisk SD card at Best Buy Store about 2 years ago for the price of a 32gb card, because they were out of stock on 32gb SD cards.. I didn't ask for advice because I generally know what brand I want before I buy. And my second choice has always been Lexar. A Class 10 SD card generally works well on lesser expensive to expensive cameras. I am fortunate to have a Best Buy Store within 20 miles of my residence. And have bought my Sony pocket camera from Best Buy. The young men and women who work there, many of them college students, do the best they can in advising customers. I don't knock them down. They are sellers first, and advisers second.

I can go you one better then that.
I went to Best Buy interested in buying a Sony RX10 IV and found none on display. I asked the girl working there in the Camera Dept. and she told me that they don't have one and would no longer have them. Thank goodness B&H you helped as you always have in the past.

My last experience with Best Buy was not good. I drove 30 miles to buy an "Open-Box" lens for my Sony A6000 that was advertised at an attractive price. When I arrived I was showed a scratched up, beat up, abused lens that obviously had a long hard life. The "box" was a cheap scratched up, transparent, plastic case that was not even included with the camera. So, no box, no paperwork, no lens caps, and no other accessories that are normally included with an "Open Box" lens. I politely pointed out to the sales clerk that this was a used lens that was rather beat up and not an "Open Box" lens as advertised. I wanted to speak with the manager but he "was not available at the moment". So that is the last time I have considered responding to any ad from Best Buy. And try to find a link for your comments or complaints on their website....it doesn't exist.
