I have just completed a project for my client. For this project client needed White background for the product photos and give a shadow so that they will look natural. Please check the photos bellow and tell your opinion about the editing quality. Basically I have used Photoshop pen tool remove original background and then give white background.

Great job John. You should have a happy client. I would vote for the boots and ladies shoes at a 45 degree angle to give it some additional pop.

It's great idea. Thanks for your opinion. I think if I rotate the shoes 45 degree then the shadow will be different :)

No big deal, but I don't see a shadow from the purse in the middle photo and due to the shadow from the heels it looks like the light switched directions from the original photo.

I think, your product images are highly precise as you used pen tools. Good work. But to be honest, you didn't use shadow effect in right way. Especially when you need to create multiple shadows in the same image, the direction from and angle at which the light is shining must be consistent. Keep in mind that the color of the shadow itself may need to be altered too. This is because shadows are darker when the light is closer to an object, and lighter when there is more distance between the light and the object.
