This is tough!

I didn't realize how drastically the light changes from one moment to the next in a rainforest. I'm spending the week in Costa Rica and have to say photographing birds and wildlife in equatorial Central America is a lot different from photographing landscapes in America's national parks. I'm having a tough time, but wow, so many of my photos are just not coming out the way I'd imagined them. Here's a few that are acceptable, but not remarkable. Downloading them will be better.

I'll try to upload a few more as I go through them and find any that may be viewable.

For the produce photograph, I always crop into the image, cutting out the bin, box or whatever, to show only the vegetables. Removes the extraneous surroundings and concentrates on the graphical structure of the subject.

Good idea! I've done that before with good affect.
