Spent four days giving some conferences to a monastic community on Mt. Equinox. Not the greatest of weather but managed to get some shooting in.

Beautiful images, frjack. I can see the picture of the cross "in a dramatic angle" on the cover of an inspirational booklet. Also the "liturgical books". Very well done. The colors of the umbrella through a glass block are intriguing. A modern image that is NOT harsh and dramatic but instead easy to look at and appreciate. --- Jackie

Liturgical books at night is a great photograph but the dramatic angles of a small chapel contain by far the Greater Subject! I like your style frjack

Thank you for your kind comments. I was pleasantly surprised after downloading the photos that the crucifix did not require keystone correction.

Thank you. Glass block is a fascinating "filter."

I love the drama of the cross and the liturgical books. Your perspective adds more emotion. The stairs are a story image, I think, made up or real. And the glass block is such a creative and unique idea. Well done. Interesting finds! Trust your lectures were as well received!😇

Thanks for the comment. The books are quite old and huge. Three men share one book during the office. Glass block does fantastic things to objects on the other side. I hope to go back to that particular window on a sunny day when there is better light in the room. Interesting comment about the story of the steps. Standing on them and shooting would reveal a tremendous view of the Vermont mountains and the valley in which the town is situated.

Thanks for commenting. I've already converted one of the crucifix into black and white and will do so with the liturgical books. Chiaroscuro is a favorite part of the kiond of shooting I do.

Thank you very much for commenting. Am probably going to reshoot that one next month and play with stuff on the other side. The glass block overlooks a large room that faces east with standard windows. I'm shooting from a very narrow galley kitchen. Would love a bit more room in which to maneuver but that isn't going to happen.
