Testing Out My "New" Hasselblad 500 C/M

A couple of weeks ago, I found a very nice Hasselblad 500 C/M (produced 1974), that had been recently CLA'd, along with a 1968 80mm f/2.8 lens. After finding a PM45 finder, I took it out for a bit of lens testing. I loaded it with Kodak Ektar 100, my Pentax Digital Spot, and went around SW Detroit looking for some abandoned buildings that weren't already falling down. I found this one on W. Jefferson Ave., south of Historic Fort Wayne. Exposure was 1/60 @ f/11; processed C41, and scanned to a TIFF file using Adobe Elements 2018. Cropped and cleaned up for flaws, it didn't require any enhancement. The orange and blue trim was that vivid!

On my computer it looks very soft as opposed to sharp. Color is nice, though..
I was expecting something quite different, you know, Hasselblad fame.
This is just an opinion...I thank the poster for
the effort...I'm not saying, "Nah-nah-nah-nah"..I'm just surprised.

It certainly has that "film" look, but hard to appreciate quality in such a small rendering of a large image.

Dennis, great camera and those Zeiss lenses are super sharp. I my lifetime I had three of what you along with an assortment of Zeiss lenses. Looking back, I should have never sold them.

Gotta love the Blad and Zeiss lenses. Never was dissapointed with mine in all the 40 years I owned them. Just can't deal with film anymore. Digital got so good...and less hassle.
Still, for you, it was enjoyment to use.

Nice shot.

It looks like there was an issue with leuko-cyan dye in the film processing. Sometimes that can be corrected by re-bleaching or re-fixing the film. See here: https://www.photo.net/discuss/threads/correcting-leuco-cyan-dye-in-developed-c41-film.246608/. The lack of contrast and the cyan neutral tones are a giveaway. Did you process this yourself or did you send it to a lab. If it was a lab you may want to see if they have a fix (no pun intended) for this.

This was lab processed. I need to take some more film there this weekend, and I'll discuss with them. Thanks for the comment.
