2nd day of using my Canon EOS 1300D at Pennington Flash (from UK)

As I had a bad day with my new camera yesterday I was determined to go out with it again today. I wanted to go somewhere where I knew the wildlife would be closer, so I went to Pennington Flash Nature Reserve & am happy with the results.

Thank you for your help it was very helpful & I won't be taking me camera back to the shop even though I wanted to yesterday.

Here are some of the photos I've taken at Pennington Flash. None of these have been cropped they are the originals.

Thank you. Still have a lot to learn but starting to get used to it.

I also need to learn how to edit the photos.

Thank you.

Squirrels are great to practice on as they move but stay still every now & again... I’ve also found that I get a better photo if I look through the view finder instead of using the back screen.

I always use the view finder for most shots and will use the back screen depending on the subject I'm photographing with manual lenses. I also use a screen viewer for better focusing with manual lenses....Rich

I think I prefer to use the view finder but this is the first time I've used it as it didn't have one on my compact camera I used to use. I'm starting to use the view finder just to look to see if the photos are in focus or not.
