Val you can take the root bulb of the amerrilis 1/2 back in the same hole it came from then move 1/2 to a new dig. But no garintee for a Christmas bloom

Thank you Angela, I was leaving it to see if the seed head would do anything, it just looks a bit flat on here... Hopefully the seeds will do something.

This one came in a glass vase with small stones for it to grow in so I expect I will put it back in the same vase later this year.. Thanks for the info though..
