Camera feel

Interesting to me I have a Canon 6D2 and find it bit small, the feel is good but I liked a bigger camera like my past 7D2. With all talk about going smaller and lighter I wouldn't even think of anything smaller then my 6D2. So for me going to add a battery grip to this camera to add some size and weight... If to much for 3+ day hikes then will remove grip, will see...

Besides that Mrs Lincoln how'd you like the play?" How do you like your results with the 6D2 vs the 7D2? I have the 7D2 w/grip (canon) and like the feel of it. Two things I HATE about it. 1) the meter is set up WAY TOO FAR to the right in the view finder. 2) the aperture wheel and the shutter wheel should be together. Not one on top of the camera and the other in an awkward place on the rear of the camera. Who thought of that? No wonder that it seems that most people on here shoot auto exposure on this site.

For some reason I never got that feeling of being capable to make good use of all the 7D2's features even after 2 years use, but rarely used auto mode. The touch screen on the 6D2 has made (for me anyway) much easier work in manual and all the other non auto modes. Again the smaller size of the 6D2 (again for me) begs use of a grip, which should make handling bit easier and also better for changing lenses. I had grip on prior Canon models XT and T1i.

So far like results better with 6D2 over the 7D2, thought I made it at least somewhat clear by stating "ease of use" which enhances my abilities to get better results (maybe not a camera gaine or lose between two) .
Best I can tell both take awesome pictures, I've only got about 400 shutter count so far with 6D2 and haven't really done much serious work yet due to poor weather here and busy with grandchildren, spring work, etc...
The good 6D2 (imo) I can crop pictures somewhat more due to FF and few more megapixels.
The bad I've lost some reach with my EF lenses such as 70-300mm IS and 500mm.
Guess reading reviews/comparisons would be better then my opinions. I believe the 7D2 is a pro quality camera and the 6D2 entry level FF. But for my use the 6D2 is the better camera, I got great results with the 7D2 and expect even better with the 6D2 with more ease of use.

I'd tend to believe you over some unknown reviewer. Im not dissatisfied with the results I get with the 7D2. What you said was pretty much what I was expecting to hear. Thanks
