Hilton Head Bike Ride

Our first bike ride through Sea Pines Plantation. Got started late (will not mention the wife here) so it is midday light. The Calibogue Sound shot has two blind pelicans on the far dock. They go blind from repeated diving into the water. Now they sit there in hopes getting fed by returning fishermen. The final sunset shot has been analyzed by the hogs in the photo analysis section and this shot is an attempt at artistry (making lemonade out of lemons).

Thanks for visiting Will. I blew the focus and had noise issues, so I went for artistic.

I appreciate you taking the time to stop by. We will be at it for another 10 days or so. The rented bikes are wonderful - new and well set up.

Are you staying in Grande Ocean? That scene looks familiar. Did you bike into the preserve in Sea Pines?

You know your resorts Toxdoc. Taken from the 4th floor of the Dolphin Building in Grade Ocean. Yes, the biking went through the Sea Pines Preserves for the Rice Dike. We will do more preserves when we take the electric boat ride. We rode to the public parks at the end of Wm Hilton Parkway today. On our way out to Catamaran.

We stayed in kingfisher our last visit. Grande Ocean is our favorite. We did stay at Surf Watch during February, plan to be at Barony in October. In February some of the trails were still being cleared from the storm. When I went to the Audobon Preserve, it really looked like thebcirset primeval. It needed lots of work, but was like what I think of the Garden of Eden. Except for no nude couples. I did try, but no nudity is allowed on the island.

We used to have some time at the Barony and it is a nice place. Everything is just about returned to normal now.

Nice set Mike. Headed there in July. We're staying in Sea Pines too.
