It is easy for the gator to smile since he/she can regrow his/her 80 teeth up to 50 times over their lifetime. If we could just be that lucky. But this fact is the reason scientists are studying what enables the alligator to regrow its teeth, and if there is a possibility to recreate this process for us humans. And that would give us plenty of cause to show our pearly whites too.
