Wife wasn't happy about her flower garden until I caught him. She thinks he's cute now.
Yeah, how can you get too mad at little Peter rabbit in your garden. Some chicken wire cages may help?

Scared one up in my garden yesterday. Saw him/her high tailing it across the neighbor's yard! They don't bother me as what they eat here is mostly weeds. So I say as long as they avoid the cat they are welcome. Cute shot!
Thanks all for the comments.
Very Waskly. Cousins of that little bugger ate my wife's cone plant down to the nubs, nice capture! Which you may need to do now and then relocate, now they know your wife's growing a wabbit buffet.
That is a real cute one...very nice image.
Indeed he is cute, Doug! But too bad about his choice of where to eat supper!
Good capture. Rabbits are oh so cute. Because they are near the bottom of the food-chain, they have a pretty tough and short life. A wise farmer always plants more than he needs and shares his bounty. A bit of wire will keep him away and hopefully he will dine on your grass instead and bless you with his presence.

Several years ago our then next door neighbor's son had a beautiful white rabbit as a FFA project. He got tired of caring for him and just turned him loose in the pasture behind our houses. Harvey started coming to our yard around five in the afternoon and we became friends as he enjoyed the lettuce and carrots I fed him. That went on for some time and he became quite friendly. Then, one evening Harvey didn't show up for dinner. Never saw him again. Never could figure out why they didn't find him another home rather than just turn him loose to be attacked by the hawks etc. So sad.

Thanks for the comments and suggestions.
Unfortunately we have not seen it in a couple of days. The wife is starting to worry that either the hawks or the bobcats got it. We have seen both in the neighborhood.
