Banff, Scotland.
You may be familiar with the name Banff because of the town in Alberta, Canada. For anybody that's interested, here's a shot of the harbour area of the original Banff on the Moray coast in Scotland. This shot was taken looking across the mouth of the river Deveron.

That photograph is really beautiful, there is nothing better than a scene from the UK such as this one, no telegraph wires or ugly US cars, simply a gorgeous view.
This photograph also shows that a fancy very expensive DSLR is not required when a Panasonic LF1 is just as good, if not better.
Beautiful shot, R.G., especially on double download! Yes, we've been to Banff in Canada!

Excellent shot. Beautiful in its own right. Thanks for sharing!
Sue, John and Doug, thanks for commenting and glad you enjoyed. This is exactly the sort of weather where compacts lose their disadvantage, plus I don't have any DSLR-sized pockets. My LF1 fits inside one of the small pockets in my backpack that I take to work, so it's always with me when I'm out and about. I've been toying with the idea of getting an LX 15 (LX 10 in the US) for those times when a small sensor shows its limitations.
