Before the storm

Was able to collect some photos before bad storms did a lot of damage in our area, many people without power. Pretty amazing how peaceful and serene it is one minute and downright nasty an hour later.

Beautiful images, Glenn! Your work is always such a pleasure to view. I hope you didn't have damage to your property, and I hope these precious birds made it safely through the storm.

That's very nice of you to say, thank you Dixiegirl. We had some large trees come down and our power was out but nothing a chainsaw won't fix, others had more severe damage unfortunately. The birds are adept at finding secure hiding places during these events, they seem to be in abundance again today but the pussy willow catkins are gone along with some other blooms I was going to photograph. There will be more shortly though!

Thank you merrytexan, most of the goldfinches in my area are still getting in their new colorful feathers.

Excellent pics. You might have needed the work out with the chainsaw, but I feel all of you when the weather turns nasty.
