I am looking for a company that does 60x30 enlargements. Any recommendations? Thanks.

Bay Photo does C type photo prints up to 30x120. If you send them a print-ready image, they will print a 30x60 for $60. If you want archival fine art inkjet prints - the price can range from $191 to $223, depending on the paper you choose. I think they will also spray a protective coating for a small extra fee.

I print my own up to 44" wide and 100' long (using 100' roll paper). Realistically the largest I have sold is 40" x 60" printed myself but have actually sold over 50 that size. My printers have paid for themselves several times over from print sales, plus their cost is deductible against the sales and consumables are VERY reasonably priced compared to smaller desktop photo printers whose per square inch print costs are rediculously high.
BUT only you can make up your mind if your print sales will be worth the initial investment which can be as high as $6000 to get started.

Mpix only offers 24x36 on standard finish. White House Custom Color has some limited finishes on large prints - 30x45+ which they price from $6.05/sq ft to $8.15/sq ft - but I haven't used them in years. They were very popular among the membership at PPA.

I do wild animal photography around the world and routinely have LARGE photos made by Greg Harty at Jack's Camera in Muncie, Indiana. (31 in my last batch) They Are Superb as well as is his prompt service. The largest he has made for me is 43" X 72" but he can make them longer and Greg is a real gem to work with. Mine are mounted on gator board in lieu of framing for I find it's the frames that do the damage when moving. If Greg is too far away for you to drive, once the print is made you could take it to a local shop for mounting. Would be happy to answer any questions if I have the answer.

I have a Z3200 and a Z5400. Factory 220ml ink tanks are $40-$60 and seem to last forever.

I spoke with the best artist I know about this...my daughter. She prints in the Portland, OR area and has the capability of printing up to 52 inches x whatever. She said that she had printed for pro photogs before and was inclined only to work with them IF they were present during the printing process. Said she had wasted way too much time and material on making prints only to be told this is a shade too red or this is a shade too green...when the printing process is controlled by the information in the digital file. The photog expects the final print to look exactly the way it looked on his monitor....even though every monitor is different. That's why she prefers to do banners, wall plaques, car wrappings, and the like. She just got a new HP printer, the 52 incher, that prints absolutely gorgeous prints...in fact, my wife is on the phone with her right now and she is printing 5 photos that I sent to her. She would be glad to talk to you about your project...as long as you understand the difficulties of her matching what you want when she sees something on her monitor and the final print that is somewhat different from what you see. This is a problem you will find with ANY printer...they print the info that is in the file...and you may or may not be happy with it. Personally, I'd go to Office Max or Staples and see what they can do. My daughter's email address is thefoursisters04@msn.com. I'll post a comment when the photos she is working on for me arrive. I hate doing prints by mail by she works cheap...for me.

There are people that do them cheap , and there are people that do them right , . Either way you need to ask questions, like is the ink pigment base or dye base with pigment inks being the right choice . With pigment inks having a life expectancy at 100 to 200 hundred years Canon, Epson . Is the paper archival quality, is a nice heavyweight with no obos, optical brightners. If it's canvas is it at least 300 gsm....is it a bright white for accurate color rendition and is it sealed with a spray for surface protection and color retention with UV color protection ..the later extends the life to 200 years . And more important are the inks OEM or 3rd party with the former being the only one that has a warranty. I have a Canon IPF8300 a 44" printer my 700ml tanks are $ 260.00 ea and there are 12 of them and a 40 ' x 36" roll is$ 136.00 dollars ...no small printer and print for a handful of local artist and myself ...so I would not print anything with cheap canvas on thin stretcher bars , and no archival spray ,its just not right to photographers ...good luck 30 x60 and 20 x 50 are becoming the choice for affluent people to buy to fill walls in large homes and car dealerships , believe me They sell . My friends largest was 40 feet long and 5 feet tall on a curved wall at Eagle buick in Crystal river Florida ...P.S. with everyone of you guys and girls buying 36 to 51 megapixels cameras I ask why unless you want to print large and in charge , trust me you print it THEY will buy it ....if your good ..I myself Nikon d810....

Thank you. I will contact your daughter. I am picking up a 20x30 ($9.95) from Costco to see if at that size do I still like it as much as I do on my monitor. If so, I'll proceed from there.
