Beautiful, beautiful cityscape, Larry, and it's a miracle how still you managed to keep your camera to get such clarity. The water looks like royal blue satin.

The steady camera is due to my very solid tripod--which weathers stormy winds--although there were no great winds that night. And of course my Really Right Stuff ball head. I always use the cable release. Together the combo produced the smooth water--4 minutes will flatten most anything.

I will admit to add a bit of blue in post, but don't tell anyone

Lovely image. Totally agree it would be very impressive as a metal print. Great job.

Thanks for the compliment. I may have to rethink the printing on metal. I've only done it once, and eventually gave that print away. When I make prints for me, I make them large usually 20x30 or more. My camera produces such quality that I hate to waste it on little prints (11x14 or smaller)

I like it very much. I never thought of using a ND filter at night. Clever idea!

Give it a try. You can do neat things with it.

I can say that it is beautiful! I have no technical opinions as of today but will be looking forward to revisiting this post to when I have learned at least some of the lingo. In fact I will go as far as to say that it’s the prettiest I have ever seen Miami.
Good day.

Great Photo.
The white balance looks a little off to me. Too blue throughout.
maybe adjust it a little higher?
Hope you don't mind. Did a quick HDR on it with a little higher temperature and tint.

Awesome! Like how you broke the rule of thirds law by composing the shoreline at the center of the image. Shows you have a very creative eye as the blurred light reflections on the water make for an equally alluring attraction to the scene as a whole.
