Not so much a street as an active thoroughfare

Travel photos, actually one photo and 2 stills from video. I wanted to capture the activity in and around the thoroughfare near The Treasury in Petra. There are travelers in awe, tourists taking photo, locals, vendors selling souvenirs and rides to other parts of Petra and security guards. Unhappily I couldn't manage to get everything in one shot. At least one will go in the book I am making of trip photos, but am having a difficult time deciding. Any thoughts appreciated.

You might consider the context of the entire book of photographs to find a unique 'hook' that might tie these with the other images you find worthy. Is it the continuity or contrast of people, places, poses, activities, costumes, customs, color, composition, etc.?

Thank you for your thoughts. This photo book will consist of shots from the entire trip to Egypt and Jordan, with a mix of street shots (e.g. markets), landscape, photos from museums where photos were allowed, nature and, of course, tombs and monuments, and some text. I think of it as a summary of the trip, something I can re-visit to evoke the experience. Your comment has helped me think more clearly about what experience I want to evoke by the inclusions of one of these shots.

They all look good, and, frankly, I wouldn't want to have to decide the best one. IMHO, any of them would work for you. I wish you success on your project.

I enjoy the meta irony of photos of people taking photos of other people taking photos. I would enjoy them even better with a couple context shots showing the actual monument or place that drew the crowds.

It was also ironic that most of those were using their phones. 🤨

I do plan to include context photos including photos of the siq through which we walked to get to "The Treasury" (the monument in the photo), a full shot of The Treasury, and shots of tombs and other monuments in the area.
