Olympus PEN-F firmware update 3.0

Olympus just announced a firmware update for the PEN-F, version 3.0. I know that any update is not reversible, so before I download to update, I wanted to know if anyone on this forum has already done this. My two specific questions: (1) does the update reset all the settings (button & dial assignments, for example) to factory settings?: and (2) does the update enable the photographer to set the focus point at the center of the view? I find it annoying that the focus point seems to reset itself to different spots in the viewfinder without me asking it to do so. There are workarounds, but I prefer the "old school" method of putting the focus spot on the subject, half depress the shutter release, recompose, and then shoot. Thank you all for sharing your experience with the new update. JimR

I don’t have that camera, but I’m interested to hear whether the firmware update fixes all the AF issues noted in early reviews.

Check the Mu-43 site (https://www.mu-43.com) for info there, too.
