Looking for 150-600 lens for Nikon

Hello all,
I'm looking at purchasing a 150-600 lens for my Nikon 3200/7100.
If anyone has one for sale, please let me know. Any information you have about the lenses, Sigma, Tamron, etc is greatly appreciated. I'm a fairly decent amateur and love to take the camera(s) wherever I can.
Nikkor is out of my price range so I figure Sigma or Tamron would be the options.

Thanks so much, in advance!

Nikon 200-500 $1399
Tamron 150-600 $1399
Sigma Sport 150-600 $1899
Sigma Contemporary 150-600 $989

Lots of choices. Used will obviously be cheaper but will have no warranty.
Some models available refurbished with much shorter warranties.

Scooter, I have the Tamron 150-600 F/5-6.3 for sale for $800. It includes both caps, Wimberly P-20 base plate and the B+W F-Pro
UV filter. I have had it for a couple of years, but I didn't use it much because I also have the Nikon 200-500 lens.
It is in excellent condition.

Same here - strictly amateur. Last October I paid $1,300 for the Tamron 150-600 G2 and that included a ProMaster GH25 gimbal. I'm happy with it. Big lens but relatively light weight. Takes a 95mm filter. It allows you to lock in at 200mm, 250, 300, 350, 400, 450, 500, and 600mm. I have not tried the Sigma version but it is less expensive.
You may also want to look at the Tamron 100-400mm. It was not available at the time I bought the 150-600. ~FiddleMaker

I have a Sigma 170-500mm. It is in very good condition. I use it occasionally on my d7100. The lens is NOT the OS model. UV lens cover, original case.Would sell for $315.00. I'll pay freight CONUS.
Your reply would get photos and specifics.
Thanks,
Edd

Hi Edd,
Thank you so much for your reply and information. I appreciate your time and effort. I've read up and am a little familiar with the 150-600 series lens so any other information you can share will help me narrow down a lens.
Thank you again !

I have the Tamron 150-600 G2 model. It seems to have better weather/dust seal than the Sigma. Also, when turning the zoom ring, the Tamron does not have to travel as far as the Sigma, making a quick zoom much easier. The Sigma is a great lens but I like the features of the Tamron much better and made the extra $$ well worth it. It does have a 6 yr warranty if bought from a Tamron dealer. Which ever you choose, get one from a US authorized dealer. Be careful of the gray market deals.

There was one listed here on May 1st. Look back in the classified and you'll find it.
I use this lens on a Nikon D7200 and love it !
Good Luck and happy shooting.
