Round two UIL Playoffs in Texas Game 1 of 3. At this level if you can't tag them out knock them out.
Granted I don’t know the rules at this level, but is hit by the ball “out”
Great shot BTW!
Rule 7.08(b), 7.09(L). If a thrown ball hits a runner while running the bases, the runner is not out unless the umpire judges that the runner intentionally interfered, obstructed, hindered or confused the defense attempting to make a play. There can be interference with a play or without a play. Pretty sure it does apply here...doesn't look intentional.

Nice job, good stuff. Keep up the good work. Post more photos. Thanks
Tom
That is a great photo. How long was your lens and where did they let you stand with it.
I ask because I shoot for a local college and just wonder where other school put their photographers.
It was a 70-200 on a 1.3 crop (Canon 1D IV) I was at the first base line at the edge of the dugout. I had just put down my 300 on a full frame. About a 40% crop.

Good Morning Paul:
I saw your shot on Facebook. This my friend is one of the best.
Great work and of course spot on timing.

Thanks Jules, I like these post season games. The level of competition goes up so you have a better opportunity of shots like this.

By the way, there's a saying amongst sports photographers, "If you see it, you missed it!". Best of luck.
