nice, did you see em before computer?, was gonna put the MP-E65 on today and then another purchase showed up, of course had to check it out first

yes,i saw a green dot on the neck and knew what it was.i didnt have a camera with me but i would have brought it home to shoot the whole series anyway

At first I wondered what you were getting at, but indeed there is a pair of 'somethings' on the tussock cat, just behing the big white tufts and near the top.

another one centered between 3rd and 4th tuft too me thinks, looks kinda like hover fly eggs which doesn't make sense, no aphids..........

no eggs on any but the 1st. the 2nd is a tussock moth caterpillar and those 2 red dots are part of of it.probably tufts of hair

I think they mean the tiny things between the hairs on part above, between the red buttons and the tussocks - and another further along to the left. They look it like green aphids. Great clarity of the hairs in download.

I really think napabob is right. There are 3 round things, not tufts of hair, where he says. They are shiny too, exactly like eggs or very young hatched larvae. Enlarge the picture and you should see them.

YES! you guys are right.i went out and hunted it down (ok,i accidentally found it again.its in a bowl on the deck) and we have larva
