The shot of the kids is sweet. I would have cropped it in portrait orientation. The single flower is nice but too centered in the frame. Again, I feel it would have been best displayed in portrait orientation. The third photo is a nice snapshot, well exposed and focused.

Your grnd dtrs are beautiful...nice pic...I love happy children pics...The 2nd I like as it is...darn the 'rule of 3's" and know that it is called "Crow Poison" here and has a slightly oniony/garlic smell when crushed...just the blooms are very sweet smelling...a member of the lily family...The third is a wild fall
aster...my grandmother called it wild epikak and that is the way she spelled it...We kids called it "fried eggs"...a decoction of the roots given in small amounts was used to bring on vomiting in case of poisioning by non caustic substances... This was way back in the day mind you...lol Just sayin'...Interesting info...Linda Morton

Thanks for the info. I did not know the name of the grasses and I appreciate the update. I knew someone would know what they were. Wild flowers are just beautiful. We have lots her in La. when the weather starts to cool down. Someone said to process as a portrait. What does that mean. Zoom in on the flower?

No, that means the orientation of the pic...Horizontal is landscape and vertical is portrait...When you crop, you rotate the crop frame parameters to either horizontal or vertical, landscape or portrait...Help any? Linda
Nice shots! Lovely Granddaughters... I got them too! I enjoy just a little more color but that is my preference.

I agree - I think the added color enhances this photo a lot....

I'm the party pooper - I like the original - most of the time, when post-processing, I hit a correction, and immediately hit "Undo" - if it looks like the subject, fine, but to exaggerate seems , well, unseemly. This photo has great lighting (See the catch-light in all 4 eyes?), super skin tones, and great smiles on both - how tough is that ? Great shot !
I like the added color but it might be a little too red.
Thanks for the feed back.
Thanks. They are at the age where they will stay still long enough to pose.
