If "NASCAR is now bigger than the NFL" you've got breaking news. Increasingly the problem for hobbyists with four wheel motorsports is the endless amount of chain link fencing that restrict clear sightlines to the subjects of interest at upper level events. Ever try to pan through such fencing seeking to capture a target going 100+ mph? My experience is that it's only getting worse rather than better which satisfies the media, track administrators and their lawyers. Tracks that understand this issue tend to get more photographers for this reason IE: Sebring, Fl. It's sad that it's come to this.
