Has anyone ever sold their used lens to a company called mpb.com? They seem to give a little higher price than B&H. They also include a prepaid FedEx shipping label. Thanks in advance for any feedback!

You can sell to B&H, Adorama, KEH, EBay, or this forum. Many have had good luck selling on this forum. I have seen many follow-ups, by uhh members, that their camera gear has been SOLD.

No, I have never used them. I sell all of my used equipment on ebay, even after their deductions, I make anywhere between 40% to 75% more than other companies will give me. MONEY is important to me, and my hobby is expensive. So, like my Dad always told me, "son, buy as low as you can and sell as high as you can". I can do that through ebay.
Now, the argument against this is that people do not want to go through the hassle (actually it is not) but folks like to justify their actions so they say it is a hassle.I like to get the most out of a piece of equipment as I can. Why should I support others with my stuff, not going to happen on my watch. Good luck and keep on shooting until the end.

I have used them to sell and trade lenses. They are very professional and easy to work with.

I am currently in the process of trading some of my gear with this outfit. Received their prepaid FEDEX label yesterday and dropped off the package. Waiting to see how this turns out. I will provide an update when completed.

Adorama will quote you the market price then pay you about a third less.

I decided to go with this company afterall. I received my prepaid FedEx label yesterday also. Will be dropping the package off at Walgreens today. I, too, will provide an update. This company offered me $100 more than B&H was offering so decided to go with them instead.

I hope they will do better then KEH. They took a month to rate my gear and then quoted a price $30 less the the original, never again.

You should also try KEH.com. Good company. They are a camera broker.

I have had luck selling mine on local Facebook market places... no shipping and no middleman. Sometimes it takes a while :) Currently I'm selling a seldom and gently used Canon EF 85mm f/1.4 usm with Hoya filter and Lens hood for $350... it has great optics. I bought the new 85mm f/1.4L that just came out, is the reason I'm selling it.
