Taken back in the 1970s or early 1980s, this is last print I have located and scanned in this "older seasoned" category. Have a few more younger models to scan yet.
I like it, it's got a nice even exposure for a beach shot, no garrish shadows that are so easy to get when working alone on a sunny beach. Reflector, assistant, overcast; do you remember, LOL? Good pose I think. I'm partial to this depth of water on a model. In my opinion when your model is in a stationary pose at the water her feet should be showing or she should be thigh deep.
I'm looking forward to more of your scans. I like to see what people achieved with film. You obviously knew what you were doing and it looks like you had some fun models to work with.
One thing, as a mental experiment you should try to make this look like it was shot yesterday with a digital camera. People often try to make their images look like film, you should see if you can do the reverse.

Actually this was a pool, with the bottom painted white & blue, thus the color texture on the surface, while being perfectly smooth (shown in photo shown here). No reflective aids were used and the day was sunny. On this particular day, I was using my two Pentax Spot-o-Matics (35mm film), one with a standard lens (being used to take this photo) and the other my 135mm which sure was used on shot of model due to tightness of it - what you see is what I have. Probably Kodacolor ASA 25, because prints from that film tended to run to reddish tint if developer was not careful, plus with her being a true redhead (another picture) and a little sunburn, that didn't help. As seen in photo, my "gear" was what I could carry on my Army belt, with two ammo pouches, perfect for carrying fresh & used film in one and spare camera/filters in other, plus the canteen sometimes had a "special juice" in it that improved my shooting the more I drank - hey, I was young & dumb, some 45+ yrs ago in this photo.
As for your suggested project, that would be interesting but would have to wait until winter again now - never like to be inside when I can be outdoors - but might be fun to play with these posts now that I have them digitalized. But not sure I want to waste the time - still behind on last vacation videos and leaving again in a week. These are the past and I seldom go back, except I like looking at all you other's work and felt I had to expose myself to be filleted too if I was going to comment on yours & others.
Love the "behind the scenes" pic!

In the first on shed looks to be a bit defiant. The second is a good snap shot
The first image is the pinup girl of my teen years. Thanks for sharing it. I also love the candid.

The big...hair. Definitely 40 years ago.
This has been a great series. I look forward to seeing more of your work.

There’s “big hair” in both photos; sign of the times.

If I remember correctly she did have a stereotypical redhead temperament. The 2nd was just to show the location, taken by another with my camera.

JF, you triggered a memory. I remember back around 1971-73 I shot the first nude model/woman I had seen without the normal "bush". Jean wasn't shaved but trimmed down to stubble. I remember having a hard time <no pun intended> concentrating on all the aspects of the shoot with my eye returning to that area often due to the rarity. Sorry to say have not located any photos of her but how times have changed.
PS
See you have a 1968 Pentax Spotmatic listed in your tag line. My first was 1967, 2nd 1969-70ish.

My son has my Pentax gear. As far as I know it is still functional. Handling it brings back many good memories.
Thanks for bringing back good memories!
