I went to the Wildlife Reserve to get some bird shots from the bird blind. There were a few birds, but these guys were playing and eating on the ground. I do not get many chances to shoot many of these very camera-shy guys at home. These seemed more interesting than the few birds flitting in and out. There were three playing together, but I think these two pictures are the same one.

Chipmunks for sure. I have them in my yard. They stay underground till the weather gets wamer.
We have many in our yard as well, but they are not inclined to wait around for me to get a good shot.
Great photo of such cute critters. I have a family of them living under my front porch for years. What is so cute is that they learned that if they place the black walnuts under my car that they will be cracked so that they can collect their prize. It took us a while to figure out why the walnuts were ending up there till we caught them dragging them back to the porch.
Black walnuts are a challenge, but worth the effort.
