I just found these lenses on Amazon. Anybody have any experience with any of them? Just curious to learn about them, other than what I can read.
Thanks

No, but I have a NEEWER flash that works quite well.

Jim- If you are serious about securing the information, please specify the makes and models of the lenses, provide a link or post an image of them.

If you did attempt to attach anything, it did not come through.

Can't find any lenses on Neewer website. Which, BTW, has poor interface.

I believe the Neewer line is made in China.

Neewer/Meike.... lenses
Meike is the original manufacturer these lenses can also be rebranded and sold under several names, including Neewer

Under either name it's the same product. That said. I recently purchased the Meike MK-EW77 12mm f2.8 lens foe me OMD cameras.
I could not be happier. at the price point this is a well preforming lens. Well built and easy to focus. There are some minor issues when shooting wide open but wide open is seldom the sweet spot on any lens. I love this lens and the results I get and it was for cheep. Hope this helps you make a decision. Happy shooting :)

As you know this lens is all manual so you should be able to use it for portraits especially. There are many other names produced by Samyang Optics (150 employees - Korean company merged with Japanese company Seikou) making these -- I ordered a "made for Canon" 85mm f/1.8 Opteka lens for almost the same price as the identical Neewer lens. When I got my lens I had trouble turning the ring with the F numbers till little by little it turned more freely due to the exercise I was giving it. There is much you can read about these lenses - they have good glass and metal bodies, even a metal hood. I even have some Yongnuo Chinese lenses with auto focus (35mm and 100mm, love them.

What specifically would you wish to know about these lenses???

The reviews for the customers seem honest. The general consensus is that it is good value for the money.

I have and use a meike 35mm on my A6000 and it is as good as any lens I have used. It is built like a tank. Of course it is manual focus but then again I did that for the first 50 years of shooting.

If you are interested in a lens (35, 50, 85, 100mm) I'd spend an extra $50-$60 on a Chinese Yongnuo lens with the ability to AF and MF. You will be much more at ease with the auto focus lens--and the quality will be as good or better IMHO (in my humble opinion). If you want a speedy delivery, have a US company fill your order (like B&H). I think this is the best Return On Investment (roi) you can make!
