I promise this will be the last night I moon my friends...LOL. I got a couple of shots of the full moon tonight. You're getting a bonus shot tonight because something strange happened. When I started processing the image in PP I discovered what I thought, at first, was just noise in the sky around the moon. But upon closer inspection, it looks to me like stars. I also discovered, at least I think I did, that when the sun is shining more directly on the moon the shadows disappear and a whole lot of crater detail seems to be lost. I turned the exposure down a little in post to bring out as many details as I could. This is my first experience photographing the moon, so if anyone can shed more light (pun intended) on this subject, I'd love to hear from you.
Surely you're too busy creating half a dozen masterpieces a day to have time for more?
