Thank you, Merry... glad you didn't crush them after you tip-toed through... the stems were so long on this plant and the minute I dug a hole and put them outside, all the petals fell off!! Hope them come back next year!
Enjoy the day, we're finally going to be in the 70's!

Today was perfect in the low 70's, but we might hit the 80's tomorrow and Thursday.... ugh, I don't do well with heat. But at least the plants will be happy!

Thanks, Angela and yesterday was a very beautiful day with a high about 72, but a sad one for us as we attended a funeral for a very close co-worker and friend of about 50 years! Today was also beautiful with high about 80, and just messed around the yard for most of the day and on an impulse decided to go outside and set in the swing set for the first time this spring. Just before dark we saw several large white birds across the creek so ran inside to retrieve the binoculars, and there were four beautiful White Egrets and we stayed outside watching them trade from limb to limb in the Cypress trees preparing to roost, and could still see them with very little light remaining, because of their beautiful white color! We only see them on rare occasions so this was a wonderful surprise!---Oh, I almost forgot I did manage to take a couple of not so great images of the first Prothonotary Warbler of the season this afternoon. Hope you guys have a great week and take care!

Corky, sorry I took so long to answer you.... and I'm sorry to hear about the passing of one of your dear friends.
The weather has been beautiful and when you can sit on a swing and look out on to the water and see egrets, must be wonderful... I'd love to have that view!!
I have no idea what a Prothonotary Warbler is... but glad you spotted your first and were able to get a few shots!

Hope you guys are enjoying this weekend... I can't believe we're into May already!!!

Thanks, Angela and hope that you guys had a great weekend. I noted in a previous post that you had been working in the garden and pond and hope your back is not aching like mine!

The weekend was good.... Sunday was a grey day and David played golf, then came home with a sore throat!!... and this morning I noticed Buster has a full blown ear infection, so I need to take him to the vet and David can take himself to the doctors.
Thankfully my back is fine.... hope yours feels better soon, take two Alive and enjoy this day!!
