My understanding of the matter is that Yes, Hillary DID ask for more money for security and Congress turned her down. But that did not mean she did not already have money for security in her budget already. She simply did not use the money she already had. To answer your question, I am sure Congress learned nothing as usual. Congress has to be the most inefficient branch of government on the planet. But that is for another thread entirely.

Almost every day I get emails from various places that point out that Comey lied, Brennan lied, Eric Holder lied and we already know that Hillary and Obama both lied about B******i, with regard to what caused the attack in the first place. Why don't I ever as in EVER see you on the Left complaining about these people lying? I am citing facts here, not some vast Right Wing Conspiracy theory as Hillary claims. If the Left is so moral and interested in the t***h then why not be moral and want the t***h in all of it, rather than just demand that Republicans be t***hful, honest and ethical? Isn't that supposed to be the Democratic way, the high road; you know what I mean.

Oh, about Hillary being indicted maybe you should check with the Obama justice department starting at Attorney General Loretta Lynch and her meeting with Bill Clinton, then move on down one notch to the FBI, James Comey, Andrew McCabe and then just a smaller notch downward to Strzok and Paige. These people, ALL, had a hand in the Hillary investigation over 30,000 emails, passing classified documents and so on. Yet we know now that there really was not a real investigation. You know as well as I do that Hillary's attorney having classified documents on her computer is illegal. Huma Abedin having classified documents on her computer and Anthony Weiner's computer is illegal. Yet they were there. Now if it was so important to get into Cohen's computer files then why wasn't it just as important to get into these computers of Hillary's people who DID have classified documents on their computers. But somehow in the fairytale land of the Left, under Obama's Presidency, that was all OK and seemingly appropriate. Now if you really want to tell yourself that this all above board and legal then have at it. But we ALL know that Hillary is guilty but was never going to be prosecuted under the Obama reign.

You can get documented examples simply looking the subjects up on google. Did you really expect me to do that for you, what with all of it in the news everyday.

I will give you a hint though. It is already fact that the FBI did not do a real investigation of Hillary. No records kept, no recordings kept, nothing at all. As a former LEO I sure as hell know that you keep documented files of what was asked and answered. It is also a fact that Hillary's attorney along with Huma Abedin and Anthony Wiener had classified documents on their computers. As for the classification, even James Comey admitted on national television that yes, some of the documents were indeed classified. His admission should allay any thoughts you might have about whether they were really classified documents or just travel itineraries as you suggest. One question and I honestly don't mean to make a disparaging remark to you, but are you always such a horse's ass when it comes to these things? You know exactly what is going on yet you refuse to acknowledge what is right there in front of your face. Even Comey said these were classified documents. How does that fact escape your mind?

Are the Federalist Papers silent on what the Founders meant. Back in the Nixon days it was a Democratic headquarters break-in and subsequent cover-up. That is not true, she never asked for money and in congressional testimony the person overseeing those decisions, Charlene Lamb, testified to congress that funding was not an issue.

You are correct and I had misspoke. I believe it was Ambassador Stevens who requested money for more security many times but was denied. Thanks for bringing up Charlene Lamb. I remember her now and her statement that funding was not an issue. I knew about the, funding not an issue part but not who had said it.
