I'm planning on going to Lone Pine or Trona for MW shoot Tuesday and Weds - May 15 and 16 and would love to have some company. Anyone interested in going?
I live in Redondo Bch. Planning on camping for what is left of the night. Leave Tues morning and return Weds afternoon.

Lone Pine is on the eastern edge of the Sierra Nevada Mountains in Central California and is near the trailhead to Mt. Whitney, the highest mountain (14,500 feet) in the contiguous United States. I would love to take the trip, but I will be in Europe on those dates.

My wife and I were in Lone Pine last fall for a week. It is a beautiful small town and there a lot of photo opportunities. US 395 is a lovely drive up to Carson City.

Also in Turkey and Australia. It's a big world that doesn't end at the US border.

The only thing I can draw from that comment is it means he does not like us because we are from the United States. And he probably really does not like me because I shoot film and own guns.
