This was my first confirmed ginger (lol), again scanned from a 5x7 print from the 1970s or early 1980s. I have mixed feelings about sunglasses - they add a mystery by not seeing the eyes, but also cover what is often a very revealing, best feature of a model.

Interesting shot, the paucity of shadows surprises me, since the shot doesn't look too frontally lit. It almost looks like it was artificially lit with diffused light.

Taken on same day as first seasoned nude posted. Based on that shot guessing was partially-cloudy day. Maybe sun was behind cloud, thus brightness without shadows. Probably shot on Kodacolor ASA 25 film but that was a long time ago.

I agree that it’s a nice candid. It’s good to see your subject looking happy. There’s very different connotation between nude and naked, though the basic definitions are the same. I’d say you caught this gal naked, and she’s ok with it. Good job.

Looks like you were out for a walk, saw her and said "Can I take your picture?" and she said "Yes". Nice one

All nudes are naked but all naked aren't nudes. This is definitely just a candid but in my mind the only reason it begins to go from naked to nude is (1) she agreed to the shot (2) she struck a pose, regardless of how simple (3) I remember having her change direction so the evergreen was better background vs other distractions. But no consideration was given to lighting, artistic lines, proportions, etc. and I agree with your assessment.

I love these “seasoned nudes.” They would make a great series. Thanks for the download! You can appreciate the image much more.

Did you shoot with a woman’s nylon stockings over your lens it looks like beeswax comb?

No - although that was a trick back in the day to soften, the "honeycomb" is due to scanning the old photo that was printed on matte paper.
