Thank you for the information on the Sigma. The lens is a beast to handhold and works best at shutter speeds of 1/2000 or faster. Fantastic portrait lens and very sharp, as the line fuse assembly shows. Remote shutter release on tripod is the best way to use it. At my age(84), it is a challenge.

I know you stated it came with a Sony A mount, but would just like to know what Sony you used for these photos?

These shot were taken with my A57. 16 MP seem to me as all I will ever need. I don't see any 60x40 inch prints in my future.
